This logo was created for Heroes for Students which is a non-profit based out of Phoenix, AZ.  HFS is a matchmaker, of sorts, for educators and students to find each other and to work together.

The client and I wanted to capture the idea of education, and we came up with an open book.  I gave the pages a bit of movement to create a lively sense of gaining knowledge.  The city-scape in the center represents the importance of the community working together through the organization and beyond.
